The High School, known as the “secondary program,” is proactive in its approach to meeting student needs. The population being served determines program structure and content. Offerings may include curricula geared toward college preparation, or in support of a vocational or technical education, or one that emphasizes life skills training. This programming allows for flexibility and movement within the program to best accommodate individual needs. A student-teacher ratio of 8:1 and a student-counselor ratio of 25:1 ensures that each individual student receives the attention necessary to benefit fully from their program.
Students may receive supportive services in speech and language, reading, physical or occupational therapy, adapted physical education, and group or individual counseling. Special Services are available to meet individual needs.
Activities such as educational field trips, dances, community service, ski and horseback riding clubs, and adventure-based counseling (P.A.C.E.) help round out this comprehensive program.
